We have so many great events going on right now and we are so proud to be sponsoring the Downtown Hutchinson Rod Run and Classic Car Show! There will be a golf tournament, a citywide cruise, street dance, car auction, as well as a luncheon and a fashion show! The Downtown Hutchinson Rod Run & Classic Car Show is not only a special event, but is also designed as an economic development project to showcase the newly renovated downtown area.

This year we are going to start the three-day weekend with a Friday Morning Golf Tournament, followed by vehicle registration at McVay’s Yellow Cab Building “The Garage”, show and shine, and a 6PM City-Wide Cruise. Hutchinson residents should pull out the lawn chairs and sit by their curbs as about 200 cars, trucks and motorcycles parade by for your entertainment.  Or, better yet, come on down to Avenue A and Main for the Friday Night Happy Hour from 4 to 9 PM. There will be a fantastic outdoor cook-out, cold beer in the event area, and a rock and roll Street Dance!

The Hutchinson Memorial Hall will be open all day for the Rod Run Marketplace, vendors from all over will be selling their wares! There will even be a live auction of cars and car related items on Saturday. The event will conclude with a Sunday afternoon Awards Ceremony in Memorial Hall.
